Here is the video. The audio doesn't work at times so I just muted the rest, it was full of static and buzzing. I rub pretty bad but I still have the power I had, probably a few tenths slower in the 0-60 but I can't imagine I'm that much worse. I haven't taken it over 50mph and the humming doesn't bother me a bit. I hope cranking them up does not create a huge problem with my cv angles, I'm going to have to ride like that for a while. I think I'll do the 3" body as it looks a little stuffed even with the 6". I'll get pics in the morning. About the centercaps, they're growing on me but we'll see in the daylight.

I don't know how many more inches I have until the coilovers are maxxed out but my cv angles aren't the greatest as is, so I hope it will be ok. By the way, my front driveshaft is spinning again, the fuse has blown 5 times now, I am trying to catch it when it does as I have the fuses that light up when they blow, so the box at the passengers feet glows.

Now you can all sleep with closure ;P

very nice good job on doing it yourself, hope you get the fuse thing worked out soon. Making me think about some 37's or 38's (I wish). Can't wait until daylight pics.

Ran into another problem, when I'm cranking the coilovers, it spins the actual threads with the collar, the collar is supposed to spin and not the threaded cylinder right? I cannot see how else it would elevate/increase in height. Any suggestions? I'm going to try it on the other coilover and see whats going on, maybe I need to loosen the allenhead screw more or just lubricate the hell out of it. I certainly can't park or make any sort of tight turns as is.

You should cut the lower blacvk plastic portion of the front bumper FOR SURE. Even people with 35s do that. Just carve it with a sharp pocket knife.. kind of like a 45 degree cut starting at the top of the lower piece, closest to the rear of the truck, and cut towards the front of the truck, and down.

Someone with a liftedt truck could take pics of their trimming no doubt. If you do it right it doesn't look bad at all, not even noticable and it should help a lot.

Good luck

Awesome advice, I did this while wheeling tonight. Wow did I rub tonight. It started carving into my lugs, thats why I took out some branch cutters that I had in the back (for gathering firewood). I took those to the front lower plastic valance. Anyways, it turned out looking pretty good, the back is another story. I need to get that done as it messed up one of the front fender trim's. Long story short I got egged first night out. Almost home, driving through the country and BAM I got hit with what I thought was an orange. I flipped the truck around and sped to where it looked like it came from, shined my lights around the area, couldn't find the bastards who threw it. I took my truck to the carwash and turns out it was an egg. When I turned around I took it wayyy too sharp and snapped the fender trim a bit, didn't mind it at the time. Became frustrated at the McDonald's drivethru and got a little out of hand with the trimmers

I can't figure out how to raise the coilovers, the collar is moving at the same time as the threads.
