Damn, J'...you do have some bad luck. I feel for ya bro. I know it sounds cheesy...but once you fianlly do get them....it will make all your aggrevation and hard luck seem minor compared to the "smile" that will be on your face.

Have fun this weekend..to bad you wont have your truck, that really sucks.

What a mess... At this point I'd either be chasing UPS around with one of my several handguns or pounding Xanax as if they were Skittles.

UPS does have some jacked up policies. One that bothers me most is the fact that you have to request & pay extra for Saturday delivery. Another one is the fact that you cannot intercept a package in-route as Josiah stated above.

Although they typically leave packages on your doorstep, if you order from Dell a signature is required. I knew I wouldn't be home when my Dell arrived, so I asked that my package be held at depot -vs- being sent out on truck. They said there is no way they can hold a package at depot until at least one attempt to deliver has been made.

I'm not really bashing them, but I don't get some of their policies.

I can't request that Saturday delivery after it's been sent can I? How much does that run? I would do that if it's reasonably priced. Just called and asked about both saturday delivery and saturday pickup, neither is available nor transferrable from a ground shipment to saturday delivery.

Its prolly too late to request Sat. delivery.

Why didnt they deliver them to you yet today? Did they just not get there yet or was nobody home to sign? If the truck they are on is still out, you might be able to call them and tell them you're home waiting for the driver to get there. Unless you tried that already...UPS can be crappy at times.

But if you dont get them by monday, I'll drive out there myself, hunt them down and pull them off the damn UPS truck myself

Deep breath, chin up, enjoy the holiday weekend Josiah. Monday will be here before you know it.

Repeat after me... Goooose Fraba. Better?

I actually had good luck with UPS with my 22's. I had just missed the UPS guy, and wanted to get the 22's delivered that day, because I was leaving to go to Colorado the next morning. I really wanted the 22's then because I was doing all the lincoln and roush mods up in Colorado. I found a UPS truck, and had him radio the dispatch. They found out the truck that the wheels were on, and gave me the guys cell number. I called him and told him that I'll do what it takes to meet up with him, and he said he'll be around an In and Out burger in about half an hour. I told him I'm there, and sure enough, I met up with him and picked up my rims and tires. I got to go to Colorado the next morning, and 2 days later I took the picture in my signature. I couldn't of been more happy with them at the time.

I guess there are some good stories, and some bad, but I think you're just on a bad luck streak. Good part is, it'll be over soon and your good luck is sure to come. Keep the faith bro, it will all be well worth the wait once you get them on.

hahah...Yea I am actually one of the "dreaded" UPS drivers! hhaha. The only reason we need a signature on certain things is because they are worth a lot of money! Usually if you live in an apartment complex we could leave them at a neighbors house and have them sign for anything. But if the driver is in a hurry they wont do it (I always try) and saturday delivery is really pricey, because they have to pay a pissed off driver to work 4 hours on a saturday after working a hellish 5 day week. I am sorry Josiah, I wanna see your damn truck done!!!

Two rules for releiving stress related to incoming packages via UPS or FedEx.

Rule 1. Get the tracking number from whomever said they were shipping you something.

Rule 2. Get the tracking number from whomever said they were shipping you something.

Nothing happens until there is a tracking number. From the start it will give you the scheduled date of delivery. Only once in my lifetime had either one delivered BEFORE that scheduled date. The best three words on a tracking report is "out for delivery". Until it says that, find something else to do besides run to the front door everytime a truck rumbles down the street.
