Is it necessary to do computer upgrade when I do intake and exhaust? Hypertech, Edge their all really expensive... do I need it though??

 

If you want to upgrade your computer get an EDGE Evolution tuner for your truck. It's like buying a set of digital gauges and getting a tuner for free!!!

you dont need to do it. to untap all the potential of the engine to get the best results, sure do it. if your cai constantly throws engine codes, then a tuner would be useful to keep that from happening... an exhaust is minor in the scheme of things- the pcm doesnt care.

Of course not, your PCM will adjust to your modifications (to an extent) after you complete a drive cycle. A tuner isn't needed, but if you get one you won't regret it!
