Do these go over the steel bumper or replace it? The HD looks like it just bolts on below the steel. The Roush looks like the whole assembly.

My painted steel bumper is all chipped to hell from stones i guess. It is painted gray. With little brown speckles all over the damn thing.

What type of coin are we looking at ont these things?

I like the roush myself after seeing the pics.

 

the roush is just a add on of the steel bumper. the hd is selling for some serious coin in range of 425 list. i was gonna buy it and try to trade it for a xlt center console. my price was 225

I got my lower for somewhere around $300 shipped if I remember correctly. I got it from Fordparts.com. For ANYONE with a painted lower, I'd suggest getting a layer of 3M Clear Mask on that baby right away. The sooner the better. I got 2 chips on mine right away and knew this wasn't gonna cut it so I got the lower bumper piece of Clear Mask from 3M and put it on and have not had one chip since. That was over a year ago. Still looks good, no yellowing, no problem. You don't need to have it on the plastic valence though, I haven't had any problems with it due to it being plastic. Look closely at that pic ^ up there and you can't even see the film.

I'm probably going to insult quite a few people here even though I'm only expressing my opinion. To me, there is nothing appealing about Roush's appearance accessories. Again, JMHO.

You can say that again. They are so overpriced too. The valance Roush sent to me looked like dog meat. I returned it.
