hella 500 lights.

Question hella 500 lights.

running into problem with electrical hook up.


the blue wires running off the hella lights do they connect to the blue wire running from pin 85 of the relay.also the green wire running off the switch were does it connect to the parking lights. also i don't seem to see a ground anywhere. please help!

It seems like the blue wires are used as ground, and im guessing that the green one needs to be tapped into your headlights...

i thought that too, but never used blue for ground.always green. i'll try that. thanks.

If I am reading the instructions and schematic correctly... Step 8 is connecting the grren to the parking lamps. I suspect that will allow operation whenever the parking lamps are on either alone or with the headlamps. I suspect this is some sort of CYA safety thing to ensure side and tail lights are lit when the Hellas are burning.
