The spacer is for the "econmic lift", which really isn't cheap at all, you can choose from Race Runner, Fox, or King coilovers as a replacement for the spacer at an extra cost similar to what the other lifts do only at a much greater price.

I was wrong the rack just gets extra brackets but it is not relocated.

Directly from Rancho's website. .

Rancho's heavy duty extended cast ductile iron steering knuckle maintains optimal steering geometry and allows for precision alignment. Steering integrity is uncompromised by maintaining the stock location of the factory rack and pinion steering. Combined these features improve handling and eliminate bump steer. Our exclusive "high clearance one-piece sub-frame" while adding superior strength and stability to the vehicle, precisely relocates the lower control arms and differential. The positioning of the differential is calibrated to correct both CV and drivetrain angles. This ensures a vibration free ride and protects components against premature wear.

I know, I was just stating it for everyone else to see. I wasn't trying to prove you wrong in anyway, just letting everyone else know.

Is 8" of lift enough to drop the diff down enough to clear the frame without having to cut it?
