small wreck(pics inside)

pics are now posted in gallery. when i say small wreck i mean totaled. Was going to fast and hit a pot hole. Blew out my left rear and sent me offroad...flipped once or twice, took out some pine trees and two magnolias. When i got my bearings truck was still running and the radio was still on. No glass was left and the doors were no longer usable. I climbed out of the passenger window with not a scratch on me...and believe me, i had an angel on my shoulder this past saturday morning....no seat belt at 70mph. I am thankful to still be here. Thanks for all your hints and truck talk...im gonna be out of the game for a little while recovering from this one.

it wasnt the pot hole that did the damage, it was what made my low-pro tire blow out.

That's what I don't understand... blowing out a standard tire (ie, huge sidewall) has a dramatic effect on the vehicle. Those low profile tires you barely notice when you blow them... how did you lose control?!

Hell, my ex little lady ran over a ladder on the freeway at nearly 100mph, blew out two tires, ripped up the rims AND safely stopped on the shoulder.

Truck rolled once or twice at 70Mph...passenger compartment still intact, driver walked away with a few scratches. If that doesnt have BUILT FORD TOUGH written all over it.....I dont know what does?

Glad you were able to walk away
Oh, and wear a seatbelt next time....you got very lucky

im not sure how it happened as i was driving. i know when the wrecker came to pic it up..the rim had sheared at the bolts and left nothing but axle dragging pavement where i went off road. Im not sure if the tire went flat or the rim broke or what. I know of the aftermath and thats about it. Raoul...wasnt quite that big, but i know i wont be traveling that road anymore. Great pic though, im trying to keep my humor amidst this.

Glad you'r OK. Don't worry about the truck. That's what insurance is for.

ps. I bet your rim broke when you hit the hole. I dont see how a flat with such a low profile tire would make you run off the road.

Dude, holy freakin crap. I am super glad you are alright. Its funny even though few of us have actually met in person we all have kind of a common bond.

With that said do you have any audio stuff for sale on the cheap

Hope the insurance company works with you. What company do you have?

yea, as far as i know im gonna be parting it out to try and get as much out of it as possible. I havent checked on any of my bolt ons yet but i know my engine still works and so does the tranny. My exhaust came off the hangers and got bent dragging it on the roll back. If anybody needs any interior parts or spare seats, etc. Just lemme know, im not gonna post in the classifieds, but i would need to know what part specifically you are looking for so i can verify if it is in good condition. Just message me and we can correspond as such. preciate it fellas. i hope this wasnt against board rules as i really didnt put any part for sell, just said message me.
