Why cant I sell my 04?

Sold it for 21500! Thanks to those that believed in me. Actually, I think only two of you said it was worth more than 20g's. Keep on truckin on...

I dont know if Im just being impatient, but I have had nothing serious on this thing? Except for the terrorist trying to send me a money order, and then fall into their scams. Should I just ebay it? I cant go lower than 23000 on price. Let me know if there is any explanation that I am missing. BTW, its in the classifieds here as well as autotrader. Thanks, Kevin

Its an fx4 with 26000 miles. Im trying to sell it before I have to pay taxes. Kind of a long story. I either want a Subaru STi, or get back into a newer Powerstroke.

Ugh because its a V8 truck with rising gas prices. Also Ford gives mucho incentives for the trucks. Down here in Houston they are taking 12k off msrp and no telling what the dealer might take off to get a sale.

You can thank FORD and their employee pricing giving you a good...you know where I'm going with that.

They really screwed any owner that purchased their vehicles before that sale pricing went on, and after that sale price was over for that matter.

Honestly, true market value of your truck is around 17-18k, and I know that hurts.

Well, if I cant get the price that I want for it, then I guess it will be on with the 6 inch lift. I kinda figured it was the market for the new ones, but there has to be somebody that still believes in used vehicles. Thanks for the replies.

This is one of the reasons why I jumped all over my new SuperDuty. The dealer offered me almost 4k above KBB on my truck, it was an '04 F150 FX4 CC with 18k. Now check my sig...that's my new rig.

Whats the most that you think I can haggle on trade-in? They have an 03 F350 at a local dealer that I can get down to 24,000. The problem I see with that is the taxes though. I have proof that I own the vehicle, but the title is still in the last owners name. I just got this truck two weeks ago btw.

I guess I am wierd. When the employee pricing was going on I was thinking of getting a F250 Supercrew Diesel 4x4. I drove one and was NOT impressed. Considering Diesel isn't that much cheaper, at least here, and they don't get that much better fuel mileage I had no problem passing on it. The dealer was shocked I wouldn't trade my F150, I just told him it was a better rig for me.

Dash, I just put my lift on for the exact same reason!

You only had the truck for 2 weeks, and now you're selling it?

Im trying to sell before I have to pay taxes and get really screwed. One of those impulse buys that I still have time to salvage. Its a nice truck, but..............it either needs a lift or I need something else. I used to drive an 02 f250, so the f150 is a bit small. If it were a supercrew, then I would probably be very happy with it. Anyway, I have a small member problem and need something bigger, or faster

People are getting new 05s loaded for as low as $26,000 I read here so that wont help you. That ford employee program really screwed it up for people trying to sell.

What do you mean by "The Terrorist". I have this guy in MD wanting to buy my '00 SC that is posted in the classifieds here. He is being a little weird about the transaction.

Thats the whole too much money scam. Lets say you want $5000. They say they will send you a check for $10,000, you keep $2000 for your troubles and then send the remaining $3000 to some BS address of someone or whatever story they come up with.

Be carefull
