Volant Ram Air

Just installed my new Volant CAI and I love it! Noticed immediate increase throttle response and power. I am considering ordering the ram air tube and wondered if anyone out there has it and is it worth the $$. It looks that it would be fairly easy to rig up a ram air tube yourself by just doing a trip to the hardware store.

FWIW...I was talking to Volant tech support and asked about the tube. His response was that it really didn't add any more power, but was for a little better gas mileage on the highway. His words not mine. So for $100+, I decided against it.

Yeah, I'm thinking that a section of aluminum dryer vent hose with a collector in the grill area would do the trick for about $10
