Question for Alaska guys
Well I'm ordering a 2006 FX4 Screw while deployed to Iraq. I pick it up in August from Anchorage. I actually live in Fairbanks. I'm looking to add a cover for the bed. I guess like the snuglid or something to that effect. I'm trying to find out who has the best price and service. I could get it from either Anchorage when I pick up the truck on Fairbanks when I get back. So either location will work. thanks for the help.

Not many options in Fairbanks. You can go see Bob and the guys at Auto Trim Design on South Cushman and they can order you up something, but as far as painted fiberglass covers, I think the only other option is a Leer from some place on Van Horn Road. I went down to Anchorage years ago and picked up a Snug Top from Muffler City off 5th Avenue by the mall. I believe they are the only Snug Top dealer in Alaska. There are other places that sell ******** and Leer, but I'm not sure who they are. The guys at Muffler City were good to work with, and I've been a repeat customer there.
I've been in Vegas the last couple of years, but will be moving back home to Fairbanks in May. That's where I was born and raised. Anything else that you are curious about there, or have you been there for a while?

I just went and looked at prices the other day, takes about 3 weeks to get in. Not too many to pick from
MGM Truck Accessories sells ******** from 1200 to 1400
Total Truck only sells A.R.E. for 1200 (www.aktotaltruck.com)
Custom Truck Inc sells Raiders for 1100 and SnugLid for 1200 (www.customtruckak.com)
Muffler City doesnt carry Lids any more just talk to them the other day
