Shock ? 4 Lowered Guys

Wanted to ask you guys that are lowered 2/4 (or more) what you are using for aftermarket shocks? I figured I would junk the crappy stockers for something that will compliment the lowered stance.
The only aftermarket shocks I used in the past was when I lowered my Lightning. Those were Doetsch Tech Nitro-Slammers. That was off of recommendation. Thoughts on those and any others since I know that good quality shocks will be key. Thanks.

Cool,I do not want to "slam it" with 5/7 drop or anything crazy. 2/4 seems to be just right. Im open to more feedback from lowered F150 owners. One in the books for Rancho 500, thanks.

I have a 2/4.5 drop and have the stock struts up front with the Belltech Nitro shocks in the rear. I think it rides great. Ground Force uses Bilsteins which is the best way to go from what I hear, for handling at least.

Your ride looks sweet but damn that sucker is looooow. I think a 2/4 will be good for me and I am going to run 22s with a 45 sidewall so maybe that extra 1/2" in the back will be just a tad much I dont know.
I have a FX4 so I was thinking of going with the McGaughy 2/4 kit. Lots of guys seem to like it.
If I lost my rear blocks(2") that will level me out and then use my ground force 2" shackle which I have on now (more like 1.5")I should net 3.5"-4" drop in the back with the stock leafs dont you think? I just thougt I may need a shorter shock since the McGaughy uses a shock mount relocation to maintain factory shock travel.
So really should I go with the McG kit or my block removal,2" drop shackle route?
The only thing I would have to buy is shorter springs for the front. Your thoughts.
Check out my pics and you might be able to get an idea what I might need. Peace.

Holy crap dude, how low can you go? Got any pics? Seems like 2" up front is agreed on but I am reading any where from 4-5" lower in the back??? I want the back level to the front and run 22s with a 45 sidewall.
You can see what I am working with in my gallery. I have an FX4 so if I take that 2" blocks out that should level it out to my front as of right now. So 2 more inches front and back should be just right I would think?
Thanks man.

In my pics, the ones that are pre being dropped, that is with a 2" shackle. That should give you an idea of how low your truck will be with the four inch drop you are referring to. Just to let you know the rear of my truck was 3"'s higher than the front stock.

Gotcha thanks. With my drop shackles now I am 1.5" higher then the front and I got 1.5" drop from the shackles so that is a 3" diff from the front in stock form. So if I pull the 2" block out that will put me .5 lower then the front. Yup look like I will have to go with the McG kit that comes with the smaller leaf pack and shackle and new springs for the front. Looks good on other dudes trucks. Thanks man.
