I know a way to fix your problem:

Never buy another APC product again.

Thumbs down

Yeah I tried some APCs on my Ranger. Did not fit right and was not impressed with the quality. Just felt cheap. I won't but APC anything anymore.
Sometimes we just have to learn lessons the hard way. Better luck next go around man.

I bought a set from a fellow forum member and he gave me an awesome deal but same problem. One line is out on the drivers side.Since I got them so cheap I am planning on opening them up with my dremel on the backside to see if I can fix them later today.I will post the results.

Ok.If you don't mind cutting the inside of your light they are easy to fix.APC or China I should say put a coating on the back of the LED boards to probably waterproof them but it is conductive.Mine had it across the contacts and I carefully scraped it out from between the contacts and now they work great!!I cut it open with a thin saw blade on my Dremel and when I was done I siliconed the cutout piece back in place.Good as new!!If I knew how to add photos here I would.

problem solved! as you know the APC's come with their own plug that plugs into the stock plug on one side and the LED's on the other side. All i did was put my stock plug into the lights and they work fine!

Does anyone know what the external black box is supposed to do?It does'nt seem to make a difference if it is plugged in or not.
