06 Chrome bar style grill

I saw an 05-06 F150 today with a chrome bar style front grill. I am not sure if it was a replacement or an overlay but I have to say it looked pretty damn good. I have been up in the air about what grill to do on my 06 STX and this would be the one. It was the same exact shape as the stock, but chrome. Does anyone here have or know where to get this grill?

Is this what you're talking about? It's the Harley grill.

I think he's talking about the ones that come on the FTX. I think they are made by t-rex or something like that.

Oh yeah. I didn't catch the "same exact shape as stock, but chrome" part.

Its just an f-150 that the ford dealership mods a little.
Here is a pic of the grille. Most people call it the Tonka grille

I bought mine from Tuscany/STS. It looked pretty sharp at first, but it became pitted after only a few months. My money was cheerfully refunded. Another guy on FTE had one that pitted and it was replaced under warranty. He said they aren't made for real world conditions. FYI, it's an overlay that is made out of plastic dipped in chrome. The cost is $299. with shipping. If you want the stainless steel version, there is another company that sells it. I forget the name.

See that looks like a flat overlay, The one I saw, although I saw it quickly, looked like you took off the stock grill a chrome dipped it. (3-dimensional) I couldn't tell at first if it was a 150 or a 250 coming up behind me because of the grill but as it passed it was a 150 and the grill seemed to be the only mod so I know it wasn't an "FTX." Thanks for the input guys.
