Guys, i'm looking for this certain set-up for clips. Not just any si/do. Every set-up is going to sound different, thanks for the help though

I just installed the Dual Side Out Lightning style Magnaflow you are interested in on my truck last week. I am sorry that I can not provide you with a sould clip. BUT, I GUARANTEE that you will like it.
It has a very muffled throaty sound under normal acceleration and is very soft under highway cruising conditions (70-80 mph), and when you go WOT it has the best sound I have heard except for my old Lightning...You can't compare one of our trucks with a Lightning. but if you ever heard a Lightning exhaust, then you have experienced something close, very close to what the Magnaflow sounds like.
Installation is a breeze. Took my 25 minutes without a lift....I recommend it....

I have the magnaflow 15827 that looks like the pic you posted. I wonder what the difference is between the 16616 and 15827 is?

The 15827 fits vehicles manufactured prior to June 2004, and the 16616 fits those manufactured after that date, depending on truck cab configuration..

Its a better clip than the one above.

IF YOU LISTEN THAT TRUCK SOUNDS PRETTY RASPY MORE LIKE THE DODGE AND CHEVY. I WONDER WHAT ELSE WAS DONE TO IT TO SOUND LIKE THAT , OTHERWISE THESE TRUCKS ARE PRETTY QUITE. I HAVE PULLED 2 OF MY BACK (CATS) OFF AND STILL DONT SOUND LIKE THAT

I have the same thing...true duals from the cats back. Magnaflo DI/DO muffler with the built in X-pipe...very distinct sounding. I love it.

I had true duals with no muffler at first.....now you wanna talk about a loud, mean sounding son of a b*tch

I used to like it, but I did end up taking it off and selling it a month ago.

Marc Carpenter needs to let it break in a for a few more weeks before giving a review on the exhaust, it does get louder.

At WOT, it gets raspy. It did have a "very minor" drone around 2k rpms, definately not as bad as Flowmaster though. It does sound louder if you have an air intake (I used to have an Airaid). You can tell the noise is concentrated in the right rear corner of the cab since the tips exit there.

I also got tired of trying to keep the tips clean, a real pain due to the big open wheelwells.

Nope..its still on the truck. I guess you can say I'm a little superstitious maybe. I just didnt want anything from that truck anywhere near my new one. Had to many problems with it. Sound stupid??Yeh, prolly, but my tonnaeu cover went , my exhaust went and so did my CW grille inserts.

Maybe i'm crazy, but just think of all the fun I'll have doing it all over again with new and different stuff..

So now, im driving myself ( and Justin ) crazy trying to decide what exhaust setup I want on my new truck.

Did you edit that video so you dont have to hear me talk?? I watched it again and realized I never shut up the whole time...LOL

I just fast forward the video.

After all you have been through with your old truck, I understand why you got rid of everything.

HAHA...do you like my back ground music...LOL

So are you gonna get the Bassani cat back? If so let me know. I had one problem with it and had to get a new tailpipe and SS tip. I'll show you the pictures of it. But Bassani was real good about it and sent me the parts no charge.

About 90% set on the Bassani, but still have a few weeks to make a final decision. I probably will get the exhaust from this place.

But if you had some problem with the exhaust, I would like to know. Since I am in Canada I do not want to pay shipping costs more than once to get the right parts. After duties, taxes and brokerage fees it gets expensive.

Yeh, thats the same kit I had. Its real nice. The problem I had was that my driver side tail pipe got hung up on my leaf springs. It would get caught up on top of the spring and make one hell of a racket. I had to drive on a hil or in a ditch to flex the suspension to get it unstuck. I honestly think I had a bad hanger. I called Bassani and told them what happened and no questions asked, they sent me a new tail pipe, SS tip and hanger free of charge. I installed all the new stuff and never had another problem. So I wouldnt worry to much. The new hanger was a different material also. A little stiffer. I'll post a few pictures of what happened.

You might want to give Fairway Sports and Performance in Placentia California a call.714-579-3894 When I was buying mine, they were the cheapest, even with shipping. When I was buying the kit for my Mustang a few years ago, they were the cheapest then too. I think its because they are right down the street from the Bassani factory and they just drive there to pick up the stuff. Plus the guys are really great to work with. If I was buying another Bassani system, I would call them without a doubt.Oh, I paid $608 for mine total, shipped to the east coast.
