Body matched cab pillars
Body matched cab pillars
I have read several threads on the flat black and glossy black cab pillars between the front and rear windows on the Supercrews. I have even see the god awful chrome ones on the LT. My question is, if one were to paint those pillars to match the body color (silver in my case) would one be better off painting the existing ones, or ordering LT pillar covers and having them painted? Im not sure, has anyone done this?

I have replaced one on mine already because it had a ding in it.
yeah, leave them black, flows better especially when both front and rear windows are tinted.
If you still want to see what they look like, look at some 4-door Sport Trac's, either 2003 or 2004 and up they started painting the cab pillars to match.

Here is how to replace them if you want to get some and paint them....

I'd leave it alone though.
