Well I bought an ipod today, and now I need to get some thing to hook it up in my truck. I know I need a P.I.E. adapter, but what else do I need? I would like to find something that is a cradle, charger, and has audio outs all in one unit, any ideas?

 

during my searching, I found out that for some accessories you need the exact type of ipod so mine is an Ipod video 5G 30GB black

 

i remember seeing something that went in the cig. lighter, held the ipod, charged it, as well as had a headphone jack on it. didnt see it on the apple sight though, sorry

 

I used a belkin car charger it has an audio jack built in so you can hard wire everything and hide that behind the dash and just run the other side of the charger out it looks just like it was meant to be there.

Mine is up in the bin on my rail system.
