22" Too Blingy? Photoshop Request!

Hey all you technology "geeks" out there -- I posted this over in the GD forum a couple of days ago and never got any takers, so I thought I'd give it a shot over here. I'm looking for someone to "photoshop" some rims onto my truck.

Here is a link to the rims I am looking at:

http://www.americanracing.com/wheels...ated&section=V

Here's a photo of my truck:

I have 22's on my truck right now (photos in my gallery if you want to take a look) and am thinking that they are a little too "blingy" for this white boy! I'm considering going to 20's instead in the American Racing Equipment rim shown above.

Any help you guys could provide would be appreciated -- thanks!

I cant photochop anything, but your truck is the reason why i put big chrome on my truck, also the reason why im going with 2" shackles for the rear aswell. Those torque wheels would look excellent on a new body mustang, but your truck looks perfect with 22s, 20s look to small on these bodys, I wish i would have went with 22s instead of 20s :o , just my honest opinion!

I think the thing I'm not completely thrilled about with the 22's is the sidewall height of my tires. I could increase this slightly by going to a 45 series tire. However, moving to 20" rims would give me much more selection as far as combinations of sidewall height and tire choices go.

Not sure exactly what I need to do -- whatever it is I want to make sure my next move is the correct one for me, since rims and tires don't come cheap, and every dollar I spend like this on my truck is a dollar that doesn't get put into my Mustang fund!

This is exactly what I tell my wife! I have the stock 20's that came with the Lariat which are nice for stock, but 22" chrome would be muy better! She want's me to just get new 20" chrome and keep the tires, I told her not a chance, 22" is the only way I'm going to go on an upgrade for my wheels! She's so worried it's going to rub agianst the ground! She's still stuck on my Lexus which was about 4" off the ground! I keep telling her, baby it's a truck don't worry even when it's lowered it's still 5x higher than the Lexus ever was! Sometimes chicks just don't understand what a man needs when it comes to our other babies!

It comes down to this, really........

If you want a limited tire selection and have no concern at all about ride quality, then go to 22's.

If you want a decent selection of tires that still ride good, stick with 20's.

That's it.

i really think your 22" look good and am not a fan of those particular 20" unless you plan on going with a more aggressive tire like a bfg or toyo

dude i think your truck looks hot with 22s. I dont think youd be happy with
20s in all honesty.

as has always been said about our trucks, 22s look like 20s, 20s look like 18s

If i was you id keep it the same.

I just can't get used to the skinny tires. Any wheel over a 20 is too much shine, not enough rubber for me. Just looks goofy and out of proportion. May have something to do with my age. We never had much wheel size option, just taller or wider rubber.

I agree I have 20's on mine, and I swear when I look at them they only look about like 18" rims. If I had it to do over, I would go with the 22"s. On down the road I would like a set of 22" Foose Speedsters [img]http://
