By the way, I've ridden on plenty of 24's. Probably more than you have ever seen in real life, or in magazines and internet shops. Not that it matters. The facts are plain as day.
If you would be honest abut it, it would go a lot farther in trying to sell people on those 'O' rings you call tires.

Trust me I am not trying to sell anybody on 24s...I don't want them to be on every car on the road like 20s are now (btw I had 20s on a Ram back in 98 and all this same BS about ride and side wall was being said then...now 20s are the rule rather than the exception.) I was just saying there are ZERO benefits of 22s over 24s if you want big wheels and if you don't then get the cheaper 20s. But I think the OP was asking about 22s being too much for his truck....if he even things 22s might be too much then he needs to go with 20s. He if was worried they might not be big enough he needs to go with 24s. The only real reason to run 22s is that you can afford 24s....period (in a street tire application of course!) Trust me I love my "O" rings and could not be any happier with them and would with out hesitation absolutely recommend them to anybody thinking of getting a set!

i think the 22s look good, but the tire selection was my hesitation when choosing between the 22s and 20s. i think that either way it'll look good, just depends on your tastes. alot of my selection came from my towing needs as well. check out my gallery if you want some ideas on what 20s look like on 285/50/20s... you might want to check out a set by foose called 'heat'... they are very similar to the AR thrusts, but in a 6 spoke

LOL ive ridden on quite alot of 24's considering I have a family member who owns a rim shop here and has ALOT of kids these days that put 24's on it and after he puts the rims on he road tests them for a few minutes and im with him most of the time.....so try again pal
I can think of one large benefit that I had in buying 22's over 24's - cost!! But I picked up mine used for 1500 bucks with almost new tires, so its kinda a special case. And as far as ride quality, I get that crap all the time about "those can't possibly ride good...", but I can honestly say that my 22's with 40series tires ride just as good as the stock 18's did when they had the stock BFG's on them, and they definately ride better than the 18's do now that I have 35" BFG mud terrains on them for the winter (the truck rides pretty rough with the 35's, although I do run 40psi in them just to keep the sidewalls from rolling too bad on the street). The fact is, though, I like the looks both way, lifted with big mudders, or lowered with big bling.
Oh, btw, back to the subject on hand. I think ddelwo's truck looks AWESOME with the American Racing Magnets on it. The first time I saw that truck with those wheels it made me want to go out and buy the same wheel for my truck. It is a lot of bling, but man does it look good. I think you should just leave the 22's on it.
