Opinion on new grille and foglights

Below is a picture of the grille I just received...I also bought a pair of 6.75" round foglights that i'm going to mount behind the grille.....how well do you think the light will show up with this grille???....or do you think i'd be better off getting a billet grille???....if that's the case, anyone interested in buying the tribal flame grille, its a replacement not bolt-on....

I think you're better off getting a big beefy billet grille that allows you to have your Ford logo on the front. I never really liked the fancy cut-out grilles. They look like they don't belong if you know what I mean.

Why don't you like the Ford logo? Most people agree that there is something missing when you hide the logo. Those fancy cut out grilles look cheap and gaudy. You should go with something else in my opinion.

Its too big....Truth be told tho I never really liked the cut-outs either, but I came across that specific one for only $90 on stylinconcepts.com, where most are selling for double. It was their last one. I do appreciate your opinion!!!

Not a fan of that grill at all.. I think you will loss 2 much light if you mount your behind that grill. I think the flames will be 2 wide to let the light through so its going to be more of a waste mounting them back there.

I also think that if you have lights behind the grille it will detract from the design of the grille. It looks cool cause its on a black background...but if you break up that background with lights then there will be way too much going on.

Talking

Go with the billet or keep it stock...

Those flamed cut-outs "cheapen" the truck a great deal IMO. Every time I see one, I assume there's an ignorant kid behind the wheel that simply has no taste.

remove the logo (its double sided tape) and take the tailgat to a good body shop and get it shaved like you would the handles...if you want to get rid of it that badly!

that's cool as long as you have a barbed wire tatoo on your arm and a big *** flamer tatoo on your back hell why dont you go ahead and get some flames for your gauges and some flamed out mirror tint and about 100 lund accessories on your truck b/c you cant go wrong with plastic stick on acc.

seriously though what is the return policy on that thing?

I think all types of grille inserts are getting old, I mean I've been seeing billet bars on trucks for 20+ years, but they are still better than those cut out grilles, and even the SS speed grilles (which my S-10 has, custom fabbed by yours truelly so it's unique). That's why I went with the Flight grille on the F-150. I guess if everyone had those it would be lame too, so I dunno. But I digress, billet is the best option to mount lights behind, bar none.
