What Tire for 20" and 22" Wheels...
Hey Guys,
Been mulling over wheels and tires. I'm going for that "street" look, if you will. Still not sure if I want to go with 20" or 22". If the price difference were not so dramatic, I would do 22" straight up.
In trying to keep the same general diameter, what would be the widest tires for these rims without having to worry about rubbing? What series/sidewall do you experienced guys recommend?
I've been told by a tire shop that I would want to go with a 275/55-20 and a 275/45-22.
What do you guys think?

I have 285 50 20 also. They are a little bit taller than my stock 17's. My edge tuner fixes that though. even though it was only a couple mphs on the speedo. 275 are suppose to be the stock equivilent.
how exactly does a shackle drop work? I have no experience with this and am kinda interested in whats involved. I am guessing it is for leveling purposes?

In fact, I'm mulling over getting rid of my 22's altogether (even though there are only a couple hundred miles on them) and going with a 275/55/20 set up....

I took a series of photos when I did my shackle install -- if you're interested in seeing them, drop me an e-mail and I'll pass them along.
