I had the same CLUNK..... the center nut which is actually the threaded strut is not tight... tighten up those nuts and that clunk will go away....

i have the same clunk, it is the arm/ball joint hitting the spring.

lets hear some results on these. i dont see how a shock alone is going to lift the truck, unless it changes where the spring mounts

So the rear shocks are adjustable too, awesome, looks like you get an extra 1" out of them if you want.
How are the shocks? Did you get them yet?

Nope, was hoping for today, but they did not make it. On the rears, I called a dealer and they do not raise the back an 1", you can lift up to an inch and still use the shock.

Got the shocks yesterday and put them in today. In the picture, it looks like the front is way higher than the back(guess its just the ground there), but I parked the truck on a flat concrete floor and its about 3/4" higher in the back still and thats with my junk on the back of the truck. When I get the rears I hope it will lift the back little to, even if its just 1/4". Here are the pics, got one of the factory and bilstein shock too, factory shock looks stouter. The difference is crazy, rides much smoother down the highway and I went down a dirt road with bunch of little bumbs that make the supercab doors rattle and lots of vibrations in the truck, after bilsteins, that is all gone!! Still hard to believe. Took my brothers truck down the same road right after just to make sure, and sure enough, day and night difference.

yeah, the stock shock sure has a bigger shaft, kinda odd that bilstein would build an offroad shock with a smaller one. you know what diameter the bilstein shaft is?

Hey 5point4,

Your truck looks great. Where did you decide to set your height adjustment (2" or 2.5") and how easy was it to adjust?

Also, did you have to use heavy duty spring compressors for the front?

Thanks a bunch.

It has 3 settings, stock 1" and 2" from what I understand, I have it on the highest setting anyways. Its very easy to adjust, but you do it all before you put everything together, cant adjust once its on the truck. Yeah you need a heavy duty spring compessor, my friend has one from OReilly and we ruined it...haha...it was kinda scary.
