Engine Surges @ Low RPM's

Your registration under Davis (the governor we recalled and replaced with Arnie) would have been over 4000 bucks.
On topic, I get a little idle variance, 650-695 waver, but it seems to be fuel blend related. You might try different brand gas. Couldn't hurt.

The last year of Davis my wife's car was 4500. My truck was going to be 2600, but they dropped it to 500.

And then in 2002 ol' Gray Davis quadrupled the already highest annual registration in the country.

I believe the surging is getting worse. It now does it in neutral like CRAZY. Even in reverse it was doing it. I really need to get this fixed, it's not my intake from what I can see. Throttle body it must be, I'd really hate to take it in, anyway to verify if it's the throttlebody.
My truck has a surge that is associated with low speeds. Down around 15 mph and 1000rpms. If I hold the gas pedal steady my engine has maybe about a 200rpm surge up and down. Like I said it's only noticable at slow speeds.
Only $35.50 to register my truck in Texas. Couldn't imagine paying those registration fees that you guys out in Cali have to deal with. Texas lets a working man keep most of what we earn.

I just found a fix. Adjust the TPS on the throttle body. Can anyone verify if the voltage needs to be the same as in that thread with the old 2v (.995 volts or thereabouts) and if the technique is the same? It's supposed to cure the surging.

Does it do it both with the AC on and off..mine has done this very mildly since day one with the AC off. Turn it on and it goes away. I fixed it by leaving the AC on.
Seriously I carried it in and showed the dealer what it was doing back right after I bought the truck and got the "Ford is working on a fix" speach, after that I relized it only did it with the AC off so I didn't worry about it. Actually I need to see if its still doing it...I haven't even tried it since I bought my tuner.
