He's my cousin and yeah he's over there. I just noticed that you were posting at all times of the day, so you must have easy access to a computer and last time I talked to him he told me that he had his own computer and high speed internet connection in his room.

First off, thanks for your service overseas. Thank your wife as well.

Secondly, my son is in Fallujah. If you see a Marine bragging about his lifted Tacoma, thats probably him. Smack him and tell him to get a Ford.

As far as the warranty, I have been pricing them. From Ford's website, they sound cheaper than the quote you are getting. You might check it out. You may save some more money. Ford.com also offers 17 interest free payments on the warranty.

if you get the FX4 dont waste your money on the 18" rim option, they look nicer but it wont be long til you'll want to get bigger tires and good luck with that!

Not too worried about pinching pennies, since both me and my wife have been over here for a 1 yr tour saving our tax free deployment money. So we are both treating ourselves to a nice vehicle. I'm going with the FX4 shes getting the Dodge Charger SRT-8. Thanks
Sounds like the both of you deserve a little reward for your service, but I think you need to talk the wife into a new Mustang GT instead of the Mopar! FX4 and a Mustang GT -- now that would be a nice garage to pull up to!

Yeah we test drove the Mustang, but she didn't really care for it much. Plus I've already got a 2001 Mustang GT, so she wanted something different. Plus as much as it pains me to say, the Charger SRT-8 blows the doors off the mustang with 425 hp on tap. Plus she supports me with all my toys, so I figured I would "allow" her to get what she wants, lol. At one time I had my mustang, my 2000 Jeep Wrangler, and a 1984 K5 Blazer. And she still doesn't make me sleep on the couch. I'm still going to have two fords to her one dodge, so it will still be a FORD household

Yeah I also have the high speed internet connection in my room. It costs me about $100 a month but its well worth it since there isn't anything else to do over here in your free time. The living conditions have gotten much better since my first time here back in 2003.

Yeah I love the flow thru consol also. I rented a 2005 Screw xlt when I was on R&R leave. It didn't have the flow thru consol. It was nice but I prefer the full consol.
