Just got my power lock actuators today for my '05 STX, and took the door apart, and before I mounted these suckers, thought I'd get some ideas on where others that have put these in have mounted them. I found quite a few posts but no pictures. Just not sure if a particular place is better than others. So if any of you out there took photos along the way, please post 'em! Thanks in advance!

I do not have any pictures of my installation, although I did find a picture of another members door lock actuators mounted basically the same way that I did.

I mounted my lock actuators in the same location inside the door as he had done. The only difference is I attached the metal strapping that bridges the opening to the outside of the door instead of attaching it to the inside cavity of the door as shown in the picture.
