is a compartment for another bulb at the bottom of the lense? I was replacing my reverse bulbs last night with the 50W halogen bulbs and noticed the tailight lense has another bulb compartment at the very bottom....is this for a non US application? And, it would be fairly easy to insert a running light in there - anyone do this?

Which bulbs did you use? Are they gonna be brighter, nicer looking?

Chris - I hear you, I have the heater going in the gararge and am waxing the Mustang....not much else to do today with the bad weather - raining here now and pretty cold.....last night we had BB sized hail - killed me to watch my F-150 taking the brunt of the storm.....going to have to build a larger garage one of these days......as far as the reverse light bulbs - I picked up the 50W halogen bulbs from Pep Boys yesterday...they look like they are more "focused" (and brighter) than the stock bulbs. I haven't had the chance to check'em out yet - but will post once the weather clears and I can check them out a bit. I was trying to find if the SilverStars were available yet for the rear tail/stop light bulbs....but Pep Boys and AutoZone only had the amber ones available. Front turn signals seem plenty bright to me - the rear need a bit of help though.....have you found any brighter bulbs for the rear yet? Still waiting for Sylvania to come out with the SilverStar for our headlights - they are very "dim" with the stock bulb.
