Anyway, that sounds like a good time, nothing like OWNING the all mighty "hemi". I remember I was at the strip last year and my buddy has a crew cab hemi just like that only with 3.73 gears and he had a K&N intake and duals. I had my exhaust and intake, and I was running my 93 octane tune. He ran a 10.4 and I ran a 10.2 and had a consistent truck length on him the whole way, so I bet with that 93 tune in your truck you should walk all over him.
That wasn't with the supercharger though was it?

Sounds like a sweet race. Hemi's Shemi's, all my friends and family that have hemi's ALL say that the hemi hype is all that it is HYPE. And for the Titan's they are fully tune from factory so there is not much more they can do with tunning. And for chevy's.... not much to say about them cause there is not much there. The living cost in Hawaii is high, so right now I don't have much on my truck, but soon I'll have an Xcal2 stage 2, and then I'll race my buddy's some what suped up titan. Can't wait to here about your next race.

I wouldn't discredit the 5.3, it's a quick little engine. I have a few videos of me racing a 4x2 2003+ Chevy with the 5.3L, I did not know the kid so as far as I know he only had exhaust. That little sob was quick but he had trouble beating me, we were pretty even for a good portion of the race but he had very slowly passed me at certain points in my powerband, but I did the same at some points. I'll upload the video if you guys are interested. He was also lighter than I with a Supercab configuration (not sure what chevy calls it). He had 4x2 and a lighter truck on me, but we were damn close. Good race, I took him barely the first one and the second one he barely took me.
