Getting Whippled!
I've had my supercharger sitting here for over 2 weeks now, and finally, I dropped off the truck today to get it installed.
I've always wanted a supercharger on one of my trucks, and now I'm finally able to do so. The installer said Thursday is likely, but the 'puter needs to be sent to whipple to get the tune and sent back. They are running a before install dyno and will send the PCM off right away so Whipple will have it tomorrow. I'm expecting Friday so I don't get all bent out of shape when it isn't ready on Thursday.
I can't tell ya'll how excited I am!
I ran the tank down as low as I felt comfortable doing, and just put in 29.1 gallons of 91 octane. We have a 30 gallon tank in the supercrews, correct? If so, I think I'll be okay with a gallon of 87 mixed in. If the tanks are larger than that, should I put in an additive?
I'll be sure to post up the numbers when I get the truck back. Now back to my waiting........

That's very, very sweet! Can't wait to see the results...and if you're really worried about the small amount of normal gas in there, pour in a little octane booster.
