Front And Rear Spline Counts?

Front And Rear Spline Counts?
I have the 9.75 rear and 8.8 front. I need to know the spline count, I'm pretty sure the front is a 28 spline and not the 31, what is the rear?

acc'd to randy's ring and pinion, the 8.8 is a 28 spline, and the 9.75 is a 34 spline.
