Very few people install the lift themselves because it's actually pretty cheap to have someone install it for you (couple hundred or so). I'd only go this route if you're hands on and want to be able to diagnose your problems down the road, otherwise I would have paid to have it installed myself. Sal and a couple others have done it themselves and I will be joining the club here soon. I am installing the fabtech 6" with coilovers and might do a writeup. What kind of tires will you be running? I am going to stuff 37's (mud grapps) on 20's. If I were you I would go with a 39" if you're doing the body lift, depending on the tire. I've seen bodylifts with 6" susp and they look funny on 37's, kelmvor will be here any minute Not to say I don't like his truck, but personally I would have went with a larger diameter tire. Have you chosen the wheels yet? If I were you I would look into the Rancho as well, it's listed as a 4" lift but it's actually a 5.5".

When are you planning on getting around to installing yours?

The tires and wheels should be here soon (within the next week) but most likely earlier. So I should be installing it within 2-3 weeks. Pics of the setup will come earlier (i.e. tires mounted on wheels sitting next to truck).

Isn't he 4x2? If you're 4x4 you should probably look at other 4x4's to see how they sit.

FABTECH kit is a very well built kit.. Unlike the procomp, it comes with new front struts, instead of a spacer.. Here are some pics:

Fabtech here! Dirt Logic coilovers and fox w/ resovoirs on the rear. Wish the Kings were out when I did mine. I'm running 35s right now, but need to go in and see about the 37s...the shop manager said we can test fit the 2 front tires to make sure they fit right and see how bad they rub. I'm looking at getting 37x13.5x18...I know 37x12.5x18 & 17 will fit all day long with very minor rubbing at cornering w/ bumps.

Bry, I am going to be doing the 37x13.5x20 mud grapps very soon here. They should arrive soon, I already have the kit with coilovers. Sell me your fox's so you can get what you really want and give me what I really want at the same time

The fabtech kit is sitting right next to me.

Nah, I think I'll hold on to these Foxs' a little longer. LOL The Kings are too expensive!

What rims are you going with (and backspacing)? Let me know how bad they rub!

They are mazzi hulk 20's. 4.5" of backspacing I believe, with a .15mm offset? I am drawing a fat blank right now so I can't recall if that is correct, either but I'm pretty certain. They will definitely rub but hopefully it's driveable. How much are the fox's compared to the King's, cant' be that much of a difference, they're practically the same company.

I think that's the same backspacing on my 951s...yeah, let me know how bad they rub. Be honest and don't be in denial about them rubbing like most guys are..."My tires don't rub at all!". LOL Whatever! LOL

I haven't actually priced the Kings, but I thought I seen on here that the coilovers alone are like $2000-$2200. Can't imagine what their remotes are going for.
