Why not just go with 37s and make life a whole lot easier? If your going to go with a 37" plus tire, you should get 4.88s though.

Adding 35s to a 4.6V8 would it be a drastic drop off from 33s with just city driving?

This should work with 35" or 37" tires. I agree with 4.88 gears with 37" tires though, but 4.56 gears will work ok.

I'm not sure what you are talking about in regards to the extra part.

Guy who started this thread, don't jump too quick to purchase the kit, learn on here as you go about what you really want. Truth is I don't think you know what you want, wait until you are absolutely sure, took me forever. I now have my Fabtech 6" w/Coilovers sitting next to me, but I have yet to put it on the truck.

Just trying to help,
Josiah

You will not have any problems with your cv angles if you get the Fabtech lift. If you add a coil spacer on tp of the lift, then you will have bad cv angles...

I see how I might have came accross as a bit rude, that was unintentional. I am about to fit 37's on 20's on a Fabtech 6" with coilovers, we'll see if it is driveable (sure hope so, this is my daily driver). If it doesn't, I'll order a 1 1/2" spacer and pray it's not going to damage the boot or cause excessive premature wear on the cv joints, etc. The wheels were sent out to the tire place I ordered from on the 1st of this month, the tire place will hold the tires and mount the wheels when they come in, as well as balance. They will then send them to me, shouldn't be too much longer (2-3 weeks max), although the guy on the phone said 4-6 (really can't see that happening and the guy didn't know the full story).

Dude, you really don't listen. I just dont understand the problem. .

Everyone said you'd have some wierd CV angles with a 6" lift PLUS a spacer but if you stick with the Fabtech 6" and a 3" body you'll be fine, the body lift won't change your CV angles.

There are negatives to a body lift, your tow hooks will be dropped (looks a little funny), same with your hitch. I'm not sure where sidesteps mount to (I'd imagine the frame) so those may get dropped from the body as well. I've seen body lifts that obstruct with exhaust as well (but this is usually not the case). Body lifts are a cheap and effective way to gain as much lift for the lowest cost, but you should not go beyond 3". Google extreme or bad cv angles.

thats what i was confused about!! haha i was like....why would my body lift affect that??? but everyone jsut made it sound like that....thanks for clearing that up haha. now back to my tire situation think i should stick with 37's or 38's? and i want my truck to stand wide...not like mexican wide but like....wide enough to look like a MEAN truck...and that i can drift in the dirt.....like i wanna be stable you know? i mean my friend has a 7.5 inch lfit on his f-150 and when we are in a open dirt area we can gun it and do power slides cause hes got his tires wide....but i guess this all depends on my wheel also

All of the things you listed Josiah can be fixed and made to look factory with a little ingenuity.

I'd stick with 37s BTW.

The backspacing on your wheels will determine how far your wheels and tires will stick out or not stick out..

Get the Fabtech with 37's, they might rub a little but nothing that a sawzall can't fix. I know a guy down in Florida that is running 35's on his 04 with the 1.5 leveling kit and rear blocks removed.
I have the Fabtech 6" with 35's and they will not rub at all. So 37's might rub here or there when the suspension is at max flex.
