thanks man

actually I aligned it from the bottom of the old badge, but no problems, it still looks great on the truck. after I stuck the badge on of course I thought hmmmm, maybe I should have gone off the top of the old one....lol

oh well, its all good its pretty much inline off the center of the ford logo

Maybe my logic is whacked, but it would seem logical to me to move it UP by 1/2 of the extra height. Then again I really haven't noticed if the center of the f150 badge is aligned with the center of the Ford emblem.

*edit* I'm really confusing myself here....

me2 but if I am following what you are saying it did get mounted "up" so to say, since I worked off the bottom line of the old badge

thanks man

they are the same exact length, the lariat fender badge is about another 1" or 2" higher than the F150 badge

Mine came today, and I installed it. I have a few comments.

1. The sticky backing on the emblems they sent me is not like yours. It's not strips, but a solid sheet. Not really important, but strange anyhow.

2. The Lariat emblem is exactly 5/8" taller, and no wider.

3. The emblem self aligns to center on the Oval. No need to worry about moving it up or down. Kinda funny since I spent a few minutes measuring and calculating before I popped off the original emblem. Then it hit me, duh!

I took pics, but I'm having problems with my host right now.

I got lucky (well sort of lucky) The paint was peeling off my tailgate badge and my dealers body shop guy made the mistake of ordering a whole set of badges and said his parts guy would be pissed if he ordered them all and didnt need them so he replaced the tailgate badge and just slid the two side badges in the glove box. awsome discount FREE.

Yes, I posted a pic in my gallery too. Lines up great! I love it, good to hear somebody else did the same.

I bought my badges off ebay Nate, so I'm unsure why they might be different than the ones you received
