Yeah, Bill just got my truck running in 5 minutes. Very impressed with the support, but in the meantime dont load the new update. He should have a fix by monday. It does seem to be an issue with 04's, but it might be to earlt to tell.

Noticed something!

I loaded the latest (3-1-06) version and had a stall problem on tune 3 when I added to the std. shift points....I think it is related to the tire size being wrong. I have 255 65 17 stock tire and the edge shows 2926 mm and should be 2398 mm! I was at 50mph real quick on the speedo...so I think the truck shifted into OD after first gear and would stall. I corrected the tire size and that fixed the mph . I did not try to advance the standard shift points after fixing tire size. I checked all 3 tunes and they show my tire size as 2926.

My hex file is:RXCM4DZ
2005 5.4L BUILT APRIL

Yes I have experienced this same problem in the past and EDGE support was second to none on the phone.

That's strange, that's the not the latest update?

Mine is:

BOOTLOADER: v1.00a
PRODUCT: E3.16a
FIRMWARE: 14
HEX: RXAQ3B3.HEX

All this talk about it being an 04 issue maybe.........and allot of talk about hex codes RXAQ has got me nervous even though mine has been working great so far. I am almost ready to agree with BillinDenver on it being the best version yet, but need a little more driving time on it. I have definately been able to get my best performance times to date. I am running level 3 which I have customized. I am still a little nervous though. I hope Bill can post the fix quick for you guys and also something that might reassure the rest of us that we will not run into this issue.

I have noticed the same stall problem after loading the update on level 2. I did correct my tuner for tire size, I am running 35's which is a circumference of 2792mm. Even with the correct circumference loaded, the truck still stalls when trying to shift into second. I loaded stock tune, everything is fine. I even loaded level 1 so I could correct my speedo again and everything is fine. Anyone have a fix for this yet? Truck is an 05 5.4L built in March.

Copy your post and put it in this: "Evolution and No Start" in the chips forum. Bill from edge put up this post, also let him know your hex file.

I'll Post in this thread also, I downloaded the new updates and the truck would not start. Thanks to all of you who posted today on the issue, other wise i would have been screwed all weekend. Bill was excellent and my truck is now running.
