When you turn your key to the on position does your door chime ding? If not then it is a relay in your fuse panel. Same thing happened to me. All i did was take a new relay and replace it with the one that runs your ignition switch. Thats all it was.

A scanner wouldn't work when this relay was no good. My light on the dash would flash really fast when i would try to start it.
And a 1714 would not recognize that my key was on.

I would suggest checking your relay if your door chime doesn't ding when you turn the key. You know the lo0ng one right when you turn your key to the on position. Maybe check it anyway.

Mine did ring too. But you know the one that goes beeeepppp when you first turn your key on. Also listen for your fuel pump kicking in when you first turn the key on. If it doesn't do this then it's probably that relay,

I don't remember exactly but i think it was the one in the middle ish. If you want you could always just move them all around and see if that works. It's one that is in the kick panel on the passenger side for sure though.

Sorry, but Edge really dropped the ball here. They had already been notified of the situation and still haven't pulled the update from their page. They have yet to return the update page to the previous firmware version...

Are the people running this company stupid and/or do they just not care?

In any event, if anyone is having a no start condition after updating their Evolution, give me a call as soon as possible so we can get your vehicle up and running again.

I will be in the office until at least 8:00 PM tonight and you can reach me directly at (801) 337-2162.

Please have your Evolution and your PC handy so we can get through this as quickly and easily as possible. Also, if you have a portable (or cell) phone please try to call on that so I can stay on the line until the PCM is recovered.

I know this situation has everyone frustrated, including me, and I apologize for any inconvenice that this situation may have caused. However, with a little patience we'll get this worked out.

Note: If anyone has seen other threads on this condition, could you please forward this message along. I'd hunt them down, but frankly I'd rather spend the time trying to fix the problem. I appreciate it.
