So I'm getting another new Edge Evo

Just got off the phone with Bill @ Edge, yah thats right, at 8:30pm MST on a Friday night, now that is excellent customer service!! THANK YOU AGAIN BILL

Now the crappy part, me evolution which I have had since the initial group buy possibly has a hardware problem and needs to be sent back. Edge will send me a new one asap and then I return this one in the box back to them. Oh well, after some extensive time on the phone with Edge tech support (Bill), we got my truck back to stock so no problems there. But now I will be without my Evo for a few days .

Do you guys both have the RXA hex codes which were in the 2004 5.4's as this is supposedly the problem one with this new version, there were supposedly no changes to this file, but rather for some other hex versions, they are trying to figure the issue right now?

After some grief with some custom tuning after doing the 16a update, I did the update again as directed by Bill, but then the truck went into a no start condition. I had to email him my stock vin codes to him and did the procedure to create stock writer. This latest update is not available right now until this issue is resolved.

Nope, returned it to stock before trying to upgrade. Couldn't even start to try to load the pcm. screen is all funky.

Please bear with me, I did the lates update tonight would load 3 but would not let me adjust the value for a custom tune, call tech support told me to unplug the port while truck was on and that it would fix it, after i did that it did not fix it. So he tells me to go back to my cpu and try updating again. I did with no new updates go to my truck and try and reinstall canned program on level 3 it loaded but truck would not start, so I returned to stock and still truck would not start. I did notice the red light that flashes on the dash would dimmly flash when I put the key in the start position with out staring it per the evo's direction, it had never dont that in prior successful programing Sessions. BTW before this it would show the hex code now its not showing it. Should I be worryed?
Thanks

It can be fixed. Just don't know how long it will take. Hopefully this is a front burner situation for the EDGE guys. I hate for them to have to work the weekend, but sometimes it happens.

My Evo is still a paper weight, but at least the truck isn't. I dunno what I'd do.

Well they are making good $$ off these things and should be burning the midnight oil to try to get these things resolved. I had a weekend trip to a car show the weekend at South Padre Island, but I guess I cant go if my truck wont start Im sure you guys are good people (EDGE) but this really sucks, I hope somone from there is reading this thread. Anyone know how to contact the this weekend? I feel you guys have the best tuner for our truck but I think you need a lil more R&D work before you post new updates that are leaving some of us stranded.
