Pull.
No, seriously. You mean the little coin holder opposite of the 12V right? Where some have the electronic 4x4 switch? If that's what you're talking about just yank on it and it comes right out.

What's the difference between pulling out the one or two clips that hold the coin holder or pulling out the 8 or so clips that hold the radio bezel in? If I was to break any of the clips I'd rather break the coin holder clip then the radio bezel clips.
Just sayin'.

On a more or less serious vein, when I was in retail autoparts I used to tell people that I made more money on beer than any liquor store or bar, but never sold a drop.
Seems about half the parts sold on some weekends were to guys who screwed something up after 'just a beer or two'.
I often felt I should write Coors a letter of appreciation and thanks.

I was going through this thread and decided to pull the coin holder so I could mount my cell phone. When I pulled it out, to my surprise, there was a wire harness connected to the back with 4 wires and a connector.
Any ideas what the wiring is for?

Mine just pulls out rather easily too and there is a wire conencted.. My guess is that the wire is for electronic 4x4... I have manual 4x4 so I think they just stick the plug to a dummy plug on back of coin holder... I am assuming that that is what its for since thats where the electronic 4x4 goes if you have that option..
