I changed mine from dual straight out the back to dual infront of the tire 2 weeks ago and I can hardly tell a difference. I may be a little louder, but with the radio on I can't tell.

No tar, but just road grime. It only takes about 2 days and they need cleaning again. However I can see how tar or gum or crap like that would be a bigger pain.

I'm thinking SIDO in front of the tire. That's what I'll likely get. My decision is easy because I've installed a rear swaybar and am a little concerned for the SISO clearance over the axle.

Also, someone on another thread mentioned that the SI/DO infront of the rear tire (kit 16616) wouldn’t fit the SuperCrew if they had the chrome tubular sidesteps. Anyone have this setup?
