thanks everyone...the best thing looks to be to ipod2car adapter but i just cant spend $180 to hook it up. I think im just going to get a pie adapter. One of these..

I havent picked the ipod up yet but what should i get? the newer nano ipod, mini or the movie ipod or what?

 

Just an idea, over at wlamart they have a Scosche car kit. You get the charger cable and an FM remote. The remote allows you to control volume, and track forward/backward and a pause button. It ain't the best remote but the whole thing is about $40. I got it just because my wired remote broke for the 2nd time. Through the ipod in the glove box and hit forward with remote.

As for what ipod I wouldn't have a clue anymore. I've got two, an original 10gb and a 3rd gen 30gb. My girlfriend has a new video, which is real nice. I've found the larger the capacity the more it needs charged. If you want big capacity get the video, if not the mini's work. To me the nano is just way too tiny. I'm waiting for a 100GB plus for my next one, all my tunes with benefit of external drive for files back n forth to work.
