I am considering purchasing the Ford F150 extending mirrors, part # 4L3Z-17696-CA. The Ford accessory site lists these for 2005 and 2006, but not for 2004 trucks. Does anyone know a reason they would not work on an 04?

 

Can't imagine. I put 2005 power mirrors on my 2004. I think they are just avoiding the whole 2004, except Heritage thing.
I tend to look for stuff for 2005-2006 rather than 2004 because of that darned Heritage confusing the issue. Wish they had called it a 2003 and a half...

I don't see where you got 2006 from.

 

Damn, for $387 I think I go with the snap on extenders unless you do alot of towing.
