Auto headlights won't work???

I'm still with the same problem eight years later. The only fix I've read so far is the security box mentioned above, but I have no idea where that is or what it looks like, even if I did know a way to check it. Hard to believe we're the only people with this issue out there, but I've never found any more information than this!

It looks like that second link there likely contains the info needed, thank you. I did not realize to look up BCM instead of security module, but I think either way, the link that actually relates to both the BSM and the auto lamp issue was not written until four years after my original posts, so that may be why I didn't come across it. I thought I had re-run the search more recently than that, but perhaps not. Thanks again for finding that, it's been a long time and I'd all but given up on finding the solution!
