Hey Everyone. New to the site, well in terms of posts. 04 F-150 4.6 2V Quite simply how do I replace the PCV valve. I'm sure its simple but did not want to mess up.

 

I know this truck is not as easy as our previous gen. this is according to my OEM service dvd's.

 

I assume its on the valve cover with the oil filter neck. But do you just need to pull, twist, or are there any "special" little tabs to press???

 

I know how to do the 5.4 but not yours. Can you take a picture of it? I used to manufacture these valves but I am not familiar with yours. If I see it I may be able to help you.

 

Your 4.6 PCV valve is located on the oil filler valve cover area. Here is the brief note on how to...

Remove the engine appearance cover.
