So what's the verdict on the 2" or 2.5" Autospring

Well I have waded threw the posts on the autospring kits. It seems as if the 2" offset kit will leave about a 1" rake agree or disagree? The 2.5" offset autospring kit in some cases overlifted the front and may rub or bang depending on the truck. This being said for the people with the 2" kit do you wish you would have done the 2.5 or are you happy with your 2"?

I think the jury is still out. Some people have problems, some don't. I think more people are happy with them then not. I may consider one when it's time for new tires.

Well it's not Autospring, but I do have a 2.5 spacer kit. Maybe this will give you a idea on how it looks. BTW it sits level and I have had no problems with them yet, it's a Daystar kit.

Help

I just bought a 2005 F-150 Lariat 4x4. I don't really like the way the front end sits lower than the rear end. How is the best way to fix or lift without affecting the ride. It rides really well.

I just had the 2" Autosprings installed Thursday. I love the look on my long bed, reg cab. I have been hitting speed bumps and running over curbs looking for rubbing. Not yet and fingers crossed.

I am getting the same truck as you badkarm38 are you satisfied with the way your truck looks are do you wish you would have done the 2.5? From the pics it looks to level but I know in person it may appear a little different. I will be using the stock tires as well and your truck looks great.

Mine sat for almost two weeks as I tried to find the time to put them on. I couldn't stand the wait any longer and paid someone to do the install. Cost me 85.00 for the install and 42.00 for the alignment. The 85.00 was well worth it compared to working on it off the ground using jacks, stands, and no air tools.

Im sure its not too hard if you have the proper tools and know-how. I payed around $350 parts, installed and with wheel alignment.

Does that include the Autosprings. If so, where did you get them?

No, that was for installation laabor and the alignment. I purchased the Autosprings off eBay. The seller's name is "SpringBender". They were $100.00 including shipping.

my truck looks level to the eye, however, the back sits 3/4" higher which is what i wanted so that it doen't sag when hauling. i'll post some pics also after i get it cleaned and aligned. i'm very satisfied with it
