Steering wheel "rubbing" sensation

Hate to revive this, but has anyone had this issue resolved for them ?

I have a 2004 FX4 that just turned 24,000 miles and this sensation just started. It is not cold weather related. I have had this truck for 2 winters now and it just started.

You can sit in the drive way with the truck on and shimmy the wheel back and forth to get it to do it. Does not happen all the time though .... Go figure ...

My truck just started this as well. I'll let you know if I come up with anything.

My truck has done this since day 1. There was another post recently about this and Quintin suggested a fix that was part of a TSB for some other vehicles with this concern. I'll search for it.

EDIT: Found it. Read Quintin's post in this thread.
