Under hood insulation

My XLT came with it, it was one of the early builds (7/03), before they started cutting corners for cost savings.
The overhead bin storage was standard too. There are a few other things that used to be standard on the XLT, but have been changed to either a option or standard on the Lariat.

I would probably add one on mine only if they are the "rubberized" mats -- in my opinion the old "fiberglass" mats were just dust collectors that ended up looking dreary and dilapidated after a few years of use...

It is 'Fiberglass' type. I really don't notice any difference in noise.
