I have the 04 and im taking it in for the second time ring and pinion gear making same noise again 21 k on first fix. The shudder and thud will take out the ring and pinion. First time was last july-05 and its doing same thing again it has 29k on it.

 

i have the 05 and right at 4000 or so miles the rear had a loud pop on takeoff, long story short i took it in they replaced the whole drive shaft.
problem solved on this one.
