This is one reason I am glad I just purchased the extended warr. I'm now good to 100k.

Edge evolution
I had my 05 f150(37, 4.56 gears used original edge level 3 program)
at the transmission shop for off and on for a year. The mechanic rebuilt it 7 times, 3rd and 4th gear kept burning up. Finally he took it to a computer programmer and found that the edge evolution programmer had a virus that caused the tranny to burn up those gears. Removed the edge and had computer flashed. No problems with tranny since I removed programmer.
