Tinted Tail Lights.
Tinted Tail Lights.
Hopefully they look good installed, as i think they do now. I've been meaning to do this for awhile, picked up a good deal at jusnesmodified.com roughly a month ago...
Remove taillamps, two small bolts inside tailgate.
I took a clean damp rag and wiped off the exterior of the lense.
Proceed with a small alocohol pad to remove any excess dirt.
Air compressor used to dry lense.
Apply back and forth even coats. Try and match your "coats" between each lense.
I then brought them inside so no free air particles can land on them while drying.

For a mod under $20, its the real bang for your buck. Hopefully i can get some installed pics as soon as they fully dry.

I dont think I could ever make a steady tint like that. Especially the same on both tail lights. I would make it too dark or too light and with darks spots all over. Yours look good tho. nice job.

Did you consider tinting the third brake light? I have the OEM Harley tinted lights and was thinking about tinting the third brake light. Looks good

IMO, the lights will look much better with a clear on them. My advice is to take them to an autobody shop and have them sprayed. That is what I did with mine, and they came out great. A buddy of mine sprayed his with canned clear, and they came out ok, but not as shiny as mine came out....
Pics aren't recent (Summer '05), but you get the drift....

We rolled out SX66/VX6600s to our entire sales force and we've had nothing but problems since day 1. I'm considering rolling out about 25 new 6700s, but I wanted to ask someone that has been using it for a while how well it works.
Did it come with Mobile 5.0 software? How is the integration with your Exchange server?

here's what it would look like:

although I had my lights smoked pretty dark compared to the HD tails. I would do a lighter coat for the 3rd brake light to go with the HD tails.

Thanks
^I had all 3 lenses professionally painted/smoked out and clear coated by a shop in Cali. I recently just sold them though. I'm sure it is similiar to the stuff available in a can like Nite Shades.
