My newest mod...and now most expensive mod...

After a morning of struggling with this grill I must say that the payoff is pretty sweet! I am so glad I got this before the price jump. Thanks to SoundPer4mance, FATHERFORD, jersey51, & wasachevyguy for all your helpful comments on my previous thread. Here are the pics...

There are more pics in my gallery.

This is really off topic, but in your gallery I saw that you took off the black paint on your emblems. Your discription is cut a little short. How exactly did you do that and what did you use? I saw the "I am a very lazy man" part. That's me too.

i think i made a thread on it a while back, dont know if its still around, but i masked off a few inches aroudn the emblem and used Aircraft Remover on a Q-tip, spread it on, wait a few mins, wipe it all off.

Not really my favorite F150 grill, but it looks good. I still think it looks best on black trucks, followed closely by white trucks.

EDIT - Duh! Your truck is an FX4, so I guess that it's obvious that you removed my favorite grill to install the HD grill. To each his own, that's why there's so many different grills available!

It's not aftermarket.

It's a Ford factory grill, with a Ford part number.

There's not a color it looks bad on. It even looks good on otherwise monochrome trucks. I've gotten a few compliments, and it hasn't been on my truck even a week yet! I saw an LT grille on a lifted F150 the other day, but I haven't seen a Flight grille on a regular F-150 in person yet.
