What is your interior paint code?

I think a lot of people would be suprised how many different the shades vary between models.

The code is for the metallic gray.My interior is Identical to the one Edge used to show the mounting pod.The formula is from a PPG Prophet which reads/photographs colors and produces a formula.Sometimes it comes out perfect but some times it does require tinting-This is what I will be using to color mine.

3Q4 is close but it is a little darker then should be. I'm going to try another color. My Ford dealer said they call it Warm Steal and that is the color I used from Dupont book and it is a bit darker. I also have a camera to shoot color but that color didn't exactly come out.

I am in need of some dark flint paint for some damage I managed to do trying to get some interior adheasive off from my old XM set up. Quick tip dont use nail polish remover. I didnt realise that the dash was painted until the next morning when I got in and noticed a big black spot on my dash. Anyway I am going to order from ford a can of it. Im sure I will not use hardly any of what I get. Id be glad to share if anyone needs some.

Everyone here is going to laugh but I was able to find an ALMOST perfect match at Walmart. I'll post up the information tomorrow because the spray-can is out in my shop. Im just waiting for it to warm up so I can get this project, done.

Guys just go to the dealership with the interior color code from the door jam, and they have OEM interior laquer in a spray can that matches EXACTLY, per your interior. I think is like $15 a can...just bought some last month.
