People are to concerned with the speed of their trucks.

You want to go fast then take the 35 grand you spent and get a Cobra and do a pulls and exhaust.

Id put my $$$ on the V6 mustang.

I don't really care about speed, but my friend was asking about a Acura RSX type S.. vs. a Mustang V6 and I was like the RSX has 100 less lb ft of torque and like 10 hp less.. the mustang would smoke it! but then he said your truck couldn't beat the mustang or the acura so it got me interested...

Page w/ lots of 0-60 times.
0-60 times Don't know the accuracy of the posting, but might be interesting for those who care about such things. Fast just doesn't matter in a truck to me.

Not real familar with either of those cars, but the RSX may have a better horsepower to weight ratio. I wouldn't bet the house on the Mustang. I'd also say the Mustang would outrun the truck for the same hp/lb reason. I've got a 4cyl 95 Accord and I'm willing to gamble it'll outrun my truck, but def not the Mustang.

I've raced an 05 V6 Mustang. He got me a little off the line, but I caught and passed him at about 30mph. Of course, I'm not stock.

Yea V6 Mustang Zero to 60 mph: 6.9 sec
Zero to 100 mph: 19.0 sec
Street start, 5-60 mph: 7.2 sec
Standing 1/4-mile: 15.3 sec @ 91 mph
Top speed (governor limited): 113 mph

But if you have a tuner you can go faster in the top end!!

I think a more valid question would be:

JJG052590 joined the website less than a month ago and already has almost 1,200 posts. Will he exceed 3,000 posts by February 28, since it is a short month?

The RSX vs. Mustang would come down to the driver. The RSX is a little less forgiving of minor mistakes.
