37's on a 6" Fabtech!
Will the 6" fabtech at least clear 37's, I don't care if it rubs, as long as it's driveable for a little while. I can't get the 35's on 18's because the tire dept is out of them. I went down from 20's because I thought it may look wierd at the last minute while photoshopping a bunch of trucks. Anyways, my point is, is it at least possible. Anyone try? I just need them to fit until I can get the body lift ordered. I had to go up in tire size to accomodate the 18's. This is a serious question so if you are not very sure don't reply, my trucks driveability is riding on your say. Thanks.

I HIGHLY doubt it!

Well yeah, but I mean I know theres one guy on here that has 37s but has 6" suspension and 3" body.. you MIGHT could squeeze em with 6" suspension and 2" autospring lift

They'll probally fit if you get a 2" Autospring and the 5" block for the rear.
What wheels and tires are you getting? This will be a big deciding factor. |

Definatly get the 2" or 2.5" Autospring. If you call Fabtech they'll be able to get the block for you.

As an alternative to getting the 5" block, it should be possible to use the stock 2" block (I believe it's 2") in the rear on top of the 4" included with the kit right? Also, I did not specify which color when I ordered it from sportstrailerz.com, I hope it comes in black by default. :o

Okay Josiah, are you getting the Dirt logic coil overs? If so then yes you can clear the 37's if not then no. If you want to cut the front chin spoiler on the sides and the fender flares in the back near the door, it will work as long as you dont turn it tio full lock. I was told by everyone from 4wheel parts to discount tire that 37's wont fit with a 6 inch, then I order the tires, lift ect. and after it was all installed, everyone says oh you could clear 37's if you crank the coil overs up a little and add an add a leaf. A 5 inch block and an add a leaf on a 3-4 inch block is the same thing. I would not run a autospring with a suspension lift if you are actually planning on using your truck.

My experience with lifts is close to nil, but I can tell you right now that stacking blocks on top of one another is a great way to get yourself hurt/killed and your truck totalled. If you are planning on 37 inch meats then plan ahead and DO IT RIGHT. Don't jury rig it because then you'll come on here bellyaching about how Fabtech sucks when you didn't install it properly. Case in point your repeated XCal2 complaints. Don't call me a 'Troyer boy' either, I have a Bamachips XCal2.

Unfortunately no, I am not doing the coilover's. So with an add-a-leaf and the 5" block they would fit. The 5" block is in the rear, and so are the add-a-leaf's. It would still leave the front as an issue, right.
